Designed exclusively for returning couples, the Alumni Marriage Intensive is an invitation to rest, reconnect, and refocus your marriage in a breathtaking mountain setting. Overlooking Lake Shasta from a peaceful retreat home near Redding, California, this experience offers a balance of renewal and adventure—away from life’s distractions.
Together with other alumni couples, you’ll share meaningful conversations, guided teaching sessions, and intentional time to grow deeper in intimacy and faith. Enjoy familiar rhythms like sit-spots, shared meals, and storying, along with new opportunities to hike scenic trails and visit waterfalls, relax by the pool, soak in the hot tub, or explore the beauty of Lake Shasta. Each moment is crafted to refresh your spirit, strengthen your bond, and deepen your unity with God and one another. You’ll leave with renewed clarity, joy, and practical tools for a thriving marriage long after you return home.
Readiness and Preparation
This retreat includes moderate physical activity such as hiking and time on the lake. Come ready to rest, play, and engage with what God desires to do in your marriage. Whether you’re seeking renewal, fresh perspective, or simply space to reconnect, the Alumni Marriage Intensive will strengthen your relationship and rekindle your shared sense of purpose.
